Upgrade and clone 80gb to 500gb XP computer

What we know so far:
need to defrag the old drive before cloning.
Need to copy settings and make sure to have the latest Motherboard and SATA card drivers.

After the install and clone.. you might have to activate windows.. and ADOBE Pro hit me up too.

Found SATA speed setting

For Dell dimension 9150 the SATA link speed was in the bios.

Do You have SATA I or SATA II 1.5 or 3.0 Gbs

Intel has a chart for this, but it's still hard to tell on Dell computers.

The box says older SATA cards and Motherboards, but how old?  1 year, 2 years?

Best to open the computer and look at the chip yourself.

If it's older make sure to add the jumper to the SATA drive or setup according to the box.

iPhone 3GS 32GB Upgrade Issues so far.

iPhone 3GS setup - schedule some time to get your email password back in and work out some other setup issues when upgrading.

One person is having a problem getting the keyboard to come up when Texting (test messaging).

Tried turning it sideways and still othing.

Also

iPhone 3GS and upgrading with Outlook and Mobile Me creates duplicate contacts. found a solution here: http://bit.ly/3rF6Tk

iPhone 3G 2.2.1 - iPod Freezes

Everything was fine until one Saturday afternoon. My son borrowed my iPhone to watch some YouTube in the car and then my iTunes wouldn't load anymore. It would open to a blank screen for about 7 seconds and then go back to home screen. I tried resyncing, restarting, deleting photos, resetting network settings & cache.. But it didn't fix it. I finally found a temporary solution, which was to reset all settings, restart the iPhone, go to settings and about and wait for it to get acorrect count of my songs. Then my "iPhone iPod" worked again. At least until I went to antthing that involved the iTunes store. (applications, podcasts, etc.). I just had to avoid going there). Last week I updated my iTunes (Windows Vista) & updated to the iPhone 3.0 software. Now, its fixed (but the iPod application seems slow).

you can get to your Youtube playlist on the iPhone but any video that won't allow embedding won't play. Wow.. too bad.

iPhone 3G 3.0 software update is great. Youtube has a login but you get a Syndication error on alot of videos.
