The Four Agreements - Always Do Your Best

Don Miguel Ángel Ruiz (born 1952) is a Mexican author of New Age spiritualist and neoshamanistic texts.

His most famous and influential work, The Four Agreements, was published in 1997 and has sold around 4 million copies.[1] It was featured on the Oprah television show,[2] and advocates personal freedom from agreements and beliefs that we have made with ourselves and others that are creating limitation and unhappiness in our lives. Ultimately, it is about finding one's own integrity, self-love, and peace by way of absolving oneself from responsibility for the woes of others. The Four Agreements are:

Be Impeccable With Your Word.

Don't Take Anything Personally.

Don't Make Assumptions.

Always Do Your Best.

Citation: Wikipedia.com

If you are too far ahead of the pack you might slow down. It's better to compete with yourself and just do YOUR best possible work on the project or venture.

Stocks get a boost from 1trillion dollar bail-out (Pinochio gets a Chin)

You'll never look at your stock charts the same. The May 10th stock boost gave everyone, especially Disney a perfect chin. I think we better stop with this sideways analysis here, in fear of what body parts come up next.

Computer glitch may have caused May 6th Stock Plunge

In any case it imprinted a huge dip on almost every US stock.

Almost 1.3 billion shares traded on U.S. markets in a 10- minute span starting at 2:40 p.m., six times the average, sending prices lower on platforms from New York to Kansas City. Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. said it canceled transactions in 286 stocks where swings grew too wide. Federal agencies began inquiries after more than $700 billion in value was erased in an eight-minute span.

Goodbye Comcast Digital Channels without a box

Starting May 1st our setup for digital TVs (5 of them among our big family) no longer got some digital channels. Like 86.1, 82.5 etc. Mostly watched CNN or a few cooking shows so never wanted or needed a whole setup or DVR. Also we like the better picture and sound. I wish this could be a Comcast feature. We would pay to have the simple on cable in the back of the TV setup again. It's especailly helpful for TVs that hang on the wall and in bedrooms with little space. For just trying to rescan and seeing what comes up. Alot of public access channels.
