FYI:
SplashID Safe - Version 6.2 Update incl. Windows Phone

We're excited to let you know about our new 6.2 version of SplashID Safe. We've made some key changes in sync logic for multiple devices, and you will need this latest desktop version to continue syncing with SplashID Safe apps on iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry devices.
Here are the release notes for SplashID Safe 6.2:
  • Improved synchronization between multiple devices and desktops
  • Windows: Fixed data corruption on sync with older desktop version
  • Mac: Safari Autofill enhanced to work with more sites, support for 5.1.7 (Note: Safari 6 is not supported at this time, but we're working on it)
  • Mac: Gatekeeper certification so SplashID will run smoothly on Mountain Lion
  • First Release for Windows Phone!
  • iOS: Retina graphics support
  • Numerous minor bug fixes across all platforms
The new version will also enable you to upgrade to future versions of SplashID Safe with more features and functionality, including easier solutions for syncing your data between multiple devices and options for cloud synchronization across all your computers and devices. Look for more info on these exciting new features in the coming months!

iPhone iPad
Windows Mac
How to Get Your Update: The update is easy and costs nothing. Before installing the update, please make sure you sync any mobile version of SplashID Safe you have with your current SplashID Safe desktop application, and then backup your SplashID Safe desktop data to a VID file (select menu option File > Backup). Then quit the desktop application and install the update from the options above. If this is your first time running version 6.x...
After launching the new version, you will be asked to enter an email address for activation. You have been preregistered, and you must use the email address to which this message was sent for your registration. You will then be asked if you want to merge existing users. If you have your data on a mobile version of SplashID, choose New User. Your desktop database will be empty after you do this. Then, in SplashID Safe on your desktop, set sync settings to "handheld overwrites desktop" for just this next sync (it will default back to Synchronize after the first sync).
  • Mac: Preferences > Sync > Mobile Device overwrites Desktop
  • Windows: Options > Sync > Handheld overwrites Desktop
Your SplashID Safe desktop data will then be populated on the first sync with your mobile device. If you do not have data on a mobile device or do not intend to sync, choose to merge the user data from the user name you used previously in SplashID Safe.
